Terms of Service
Last updated 27 September 2026 · By using ScoutDeck you agree to these terms.
ScoutDeck is an analytics tool that produces scouting reports on public YouTube channels so talent scouts, agencies, and brands can evaluate emerging content creators. These terms govern your use of the site and everything in it.
1. Accounts
You need a free account to save briefs, compare scenarios, and review claim evidence. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials secure and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information when creating an account, and you may close it at any time.
2. What the reports are — and are not
Reports combine live public YouTube data with modelled estimates. Modelled figures — watch time, retention, bounce rate, revenue, memberships, growth history and others — are clearly labelled and are approximations, not measurements. Estimates carry confidence ranges; treat them as directional signals for evaluation, not as audited financials or factual claims about a creator. ScoutDeck is a decision-support tool: signing decisions remain yours.
3. Creator data and consent
Private creator metrics may only be added through the creator's own action: connecting their YouTube account via Google, or submitting figures through the creator form. By requesting or receiving creator data, you confirm you have a legitimate business reason for the request and that you will not use a creator's data outside evaluating them for representation, signing, or partnership. Do not send form links to people who are not the channel owner or an authorised representative.
4. Acceptable use
- Do not scrape, resell, or republish ScoutDeck reports or bulk data outside normal evaluation use.
- Do not share briefs containing a creator's private analytics with anyone without the creator's permission.
- Do not attempt to access other scouts' accounts, private briefs, or creator submissions.
- Do not use ScoutDeck to harass, defame, or discriminate against creators. Reports are analytical, not endorsements or accusations.
- Do not interfere with the service's operation or exceed reasonable usage of its data sources.
5. Share links
When you make a brief shareable, anyone with the private link can view the approved claims in it. You choose what to publish through the claim-review workflow, and you are responsible for what your share link contains. ScoutDeck may suspend a share link that is used abusively.
6. AI-generated briefs
AI scouting briefs are drafts generated from your report data. They can contain mistakes or mischaracterisations; verify every claim against the underlying data and the sources you entered before relying on one. AI output is not advice.
7. Intellectual property
ScoutDeck's interface, scoring models, methodology, and written explanations belong to ScoutDeck. Channel names, videos, and statistics referenced in reports belong to their respective owners on YouTube. You keep full ownership of the briefs you write and save.
8. No affiliation
ScoutDeck is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by YouTube or Google. "YouTube" and "Google" are trademarks of their respective owners and are used only to describe the data sources the service relies on.
9. Disclaimers and liability
The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Data sources can be wrong, delayed, or unavailable; modelled estimates can be inaccurate. To the fullest extent permitted by law, ScoutDeck is not liable for decisions you make based on reports or briefs — including signing, investment, or partnership decisions — or for indirect or consequential damages.
10. Suspension and changes
We may suspend accounts that violate these terms. We may update the service and these terms; when the terms change materially, the "last updated" date above changes and continued use constitutes acceptance. If you disagree with the new terms, stop using the service and close your account.
